COLD LAKE - Cold Lake RCMP are looking to the public for information regarding an incident where a vehicle was allegedly shot at with a shotgun.
On April 2, between 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., Cold Lake RCMP responded to a report regarding a firearms complaint in the area of 54th Avenue and 56th Street, in Cold Lake.
After investigating, "it was determined that someone had discharged a shotgun into the side of a vehicle," according to information from police. "At the time of police arrival, no one was located within the vehicle or surrounding area and no injuries have been reported."
Cold Lake RCMP say they believe the incident was a targeted occurrence, "and there is no danger to public safety at time."
