The Lakeland Minor Ball league is in full swing with teams across the region competing in opening games over the week.
On Thursday night, the visiting Goodfish Lake U18 team held onto their seven-inning game to beat the Lac La Biche Dodgers 13-10. Up midway through the game by as much as an 8-1 margin, Goodfish let the Dodgers back into the game, highlighted by a seven-run fourth inning for the Dodgers. Both teams were tied at 10 going into the final inning.
Goodfish got back on the sticks in the final frame, scoring three unanswered runs to take the game.
