Crushing it on Lac La Biche shoreline

Lac La Biche shoreline of crushed ice looks cool

Residents and visitors have been stopping by the Lac La Biche shoreline on Churchill Drive over the last few days and taking some n-ice photos.

Thawing ice on the community's namesake lake, recent rains and some windy conditions all combined to send mounds of ice crushing onto the shore. The icy mountains of crushed ice, created by Mother Nature, have attracted families and individuals to see first-hand an example of the Welcoming By Nature slogan of the northeastern Alberta community.

Temperatures around the Lac La Biche region are expected to rise through the week, so the seasonal site is not expected to last much longer.
