The RCMP are confirming on man died as a result of a head-on collision in Rocky View County.
The Airdrie Rural RCMP confirmed it had cleared a collision scene on Highway 9 on Monday night.
According to police, at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 30, the RCMP were advised of a head on collision involving an SUV and a pick-up truck pulling a cattle trailer. The driver of the SUV, a 42-year-old male, was declared deceased at the scene. The occupants of the pick-up received minor injuries.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
