Bonnyville RCMP warn public not to approach vehicles possibly involved in firearms-related incident

BONNYVILLE - Bonnyville RCMP are investigating an incident involving a firearm and a stolen truck.

Earlier today, at about 7:20 a.m., Bonnyville RCMP were called about an incident involving a firearm and a stolen 1997 white Chevrolet 1500 Z71 with Saskatchewan license plate 8ZZ KMX.

According to police, the vehicle has been spotted in the rural area surrounding town since the incident, and the public are being asked to be on the lookout.

Officers are also seeking assistance in locating a dark blue Dodge Caravan with Alberta license plate BZJ8669, which is also stolen. It may be related to the incident.

Police are asking the public to call 911 immediately if they see the suspect vehicles and not to approach them.
