Our apologies for the late uploading of these images from yesterday. There were some file issues that took time to recfify.

Held inside at the Bold Center since 2013, the Lac La Biche County Remembrance Day service was back outdoors on Wednesday because of COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

About 150 people attended the event held at the Royal Canadian Legion's McGrane Branch 28. With pandemic restrictions restricting gatherings, several groups were absent in large numbers from this year's ceremony, including members from CFB Cold Lake 4-Wing, local service groups, the Lac La Biche Army Cadets and scouting groups.

Despite the changes, Lac La Biche Legion President Dan Stevens said the short service went well, and the message of Remembrance was delivered.

Ceremonies held inside the Bold Center have drawn between 300 and 500 people in past years. The decision to move the services inside was to draw more people to the event, and to avoid any unforeseen weather elements at the Legion's lakeshore location.
