J.A. Williams students and staff welcomed the community to the COVID-created graduation celebration in Lac La Biche on Friday afternoon.

A four-block vehicle procession along the community's Beaver Hill Road was watched by hundreds of cheering and waving community members. The half-hour parade was followed by an outdoor grad class photo at McArthur Park alongside the hamlet's lakeshore.

A virtual convocation ceremony will take place online Friday night with speeches and presentations to the high school's graduates.
