LAC LA BICHE - While the construction activity outside the Bold Centre is kicking up in intensity, activity inside the Lac La BIche recreation facility has been kicking it up as well. A recent senior soccer tournament drew teams from across the Lakeland and Fort McMurray for a friendly competition.

The games saw women's teams from the  Lakeland District Soccer Association and Fort McMurray Women’s Soccer Association take over the indoor soccer field at the Bold Centre.

The event wasn’t an official tournament, and the Cold Lake U19 girls, Lakeland women, Fort McMurray U17/19 and Fort McMurray played two non-competitive exhibition games each.
