Lac La Biche Music Festival taking place week of April 15

After a week of performances in front of adjudicators, dozens of local students will be performing for family, friends and community members at the Lac La Biche and District Music Festival's Community Concert on April 19.

Performances in vocal, music ensemble, piano and solo are just a few of the categories that will be highlighted at the evening's fine-art performance.

Trophies will also be handed out to the top performers, some who will go on to the compete at the provincial level festival later this year.

The long-running local music festival has been featuring the talents of local school-aged students and adults for more than 40 years. 

The annual Lac La Biche and District Music Festival is happening this week, with the final concert taking place on Friday, April 19 at Aurora Middle School at 6:30 p.m.
