Lac La Biche RCMP restrict office traffic

Staff at the Lac La Biche RCMP have asked the POST to distribute information about changes to public access at the local detachment office on Beaver Hill Road.

On a written notice at the detachment's main doors, RCMP officials have issued a disclaimer restricting contact with the public and suspending some community services offered over the counter.

ATTENTION: Due to Covid-19, ALL front counter services will be limited until further notice.

NO Criminal Record Checks OR Fingerprints for Volunteer positions will be done.  Immigration/Pardons/Visa/Citizenship fingerprints will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Collision reporting and all other complaints are to be sent via fax (780-623-2588) or email (klaclabicheadmin-klaclabiche.grc@rcmp-grc.gc.ca).

If you are unable to report by fax or email, please call Lac La Biche RCMP Detachment at 780-404-2500 and we will direct you further.

The notice was put on the door Monday afternoon and is in effect immediately, and will be in effect until further notice. Similr notices are being placed at entrances to community RCMP detachments across the region.
