The interactive map will show residents locations and times as Santa rolls through the area, waving to residents from the open-air truck box of a peace officer vehicle. Lac La Biche County's Manager of Enforcement Services Chris Clark says residents are encouraged to wave to the Jolly Elf as peace officers roll through local neighbourhoods. COVID-19 measures are in place for Santa's visit, so social distancing will have to be adhered to, says Clark.

Holiday music and the flashing lights of the patrol vehicles will help to draw attention to the visit as well.
