Lac La Biche Summer Days featured something for everyone, including a slo-pitch tournament that took place throughout the weekend at the Bold Center. During the tourney, 12 teams grouped into three divisions (consisting of four teams each) had plenty of fun and excitement competing against each other as well as for a share of the $8,000 in prize money that was up for grabs. Most of the teams were from the Lakeland region, with a few visiting from other communities. The round robin portion of the slo-pitch tournament took place Saturday while the playoffs were Sunday. The teams were ranked from one to 12, with the top three winners in each division receiving prizes.
