Spring Trade Show and Spring Sale takes place over weekend at Bold Center

LAC LA BICHE - The products and services of local businesses, home-based crafters, restaurateurs and service providers were on display at the Spring Trade Show and a Spring Sale over the weekend. The events were held side-by-side at the Bold Center in Lac La Biche.

The Spring Trade Show and a Festival of Food, organized by the Lac La Biche and District Chamber of Commerce, took place inside Fieldhouse 1 on April 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., The Spring Sale, which has been an annual Lac La Biche Agricultural Society event for the past 12 years, occurred in the adjacent Fieldhouse 2 on April 13 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The Spring Sale showcased a variety of products including pottery, baked goods, clothing, and wooden crafts, as well as booths from community organizations. Next door, those who attended the Spring Trade Show had the opportunity to check out vehicles from area dealerships, as well as power tools, ATVs, lawn mowers, crafts, jewellery and hair products.

For those who were interested in viewing the works of local artists, there was an art show and sale on the second floor of the Bold Center featuring paintings done by members of the Lac La Biche Art Club.
