PLAMONDON - The little silhouetted construction worker and his co-workers are back on Lac La Biche and Plamondon Main Streets.

Crews were busy preparing a 200 - metre section of Lac La Biche's Main Street on Saturday afternoon for a long-standing construction project. For the last three years, the section of the community's main road has been under regular summer construction. The stretch of roadway has had utility upgrades, as well as curb and gutter imporvements.

Issues with the utility pipe replacements forced the road to be dug up and re-paved more than once. Construction crews are expected to be putting a final lift of pavement on the road over the next week. Plamondon residents will also be seeing a portion of their main street receive long-awaited upgrades as municipal officials continue to push to have provincial funding  re-instated for a section of Plamodond Main Street paving.
