Shania Desjarlais wants to represent her community at the Miss Teen World City Queen Pageant in the Dominican Republic in November. She's already the Miss Teen Northern Alberta in the Miss Canada Globe Productions' pageant circuit.
To help her get to her world stage event, the gang at Mo's Billiard in Lac La Biche is hosting a fundraiser with a live band and prizes on Saturday night. Ticket to the event are $20 that includes entry, free pool and music from local band Last Minute. There will be draws and chances to donate to Desjarlais' adventure through the night. Doors open early at 4 pm, with the band starting at 8.
