Wood Buffalo RCMP search for missing woman

Fort McMurray — On April 14, 2020 at 2:54 am, Wood Buffalo RCMP received report of a 911 hang up. Wood Buffalo RCMP have confirmed the 911 call came from April Kaskimin’s mobile phone, in Fort McMurray.  

Wood Buffalo RCMP have been in contact with her family and have been unable to locate her. Police are seeking assistance from the general public to locate April.  She is known to frequent areas from Wood Buffalo to Edmonton.

April Louise Kaskimin is described as:

·         An Indigenous female

·         53 years old

·         Height: 5’ 5”

·         Weight: 190 lbs

·         Eyes: Brown

·         Hair: Black, shoulder length

·         Tattoo: upper right arm, black Chinese symbol, barbed wire

·         Scar: left hand, palm

Police are concerned for April’s well being and would like to locate her as soon as possible.
