Elks name new District Deputy during meeting in St. Paul

ST. PAUL - Elks lodge members from across the region came together in St. Paul on April 13 for a district meeting where a new District Deputy was also elected.

Members from Elk Point No. 460, Hairy Hill No. 304, Lac La Biche No. 470, St. Paul No. 465 and Vegreville No. 143 gathered at the St. Paul Legion Hall to take part in the meeting, where St. Paul's Linda Kryzanowski was elected as the new District Deputy.

Kryzanowski takes over from former District Deputy Lawrence Pidluzny.

The St. Paul Elks also took the opportunity to showcase another local non-profit organization. St. Paul Search and Rescue was on hand with a variety of equipment and its Swift Water Rescue Unit, which has been supported by the Elks through a $13,000 donation.
