Lights out in large area of St. Paul

ST. PAUL - A power outage is affecting a significant area of St. Paul on Friday, with ATCO estimating the lights to be back on around 9:30 p.m.

"Third party contact" is deemed to be the cause of the outage, according to ATCO.

The Town of St. Paul office confirmed it was without power Friday afternoon, and noted that a single vehicle accident was the cause of the outage.

According to the ATCO website, a large area of St. Paul is affected, and the outage notice states the estimated repair time is 9:30 p.m.
