MALLAIG - The annual Haying in the 30's event held near Mallaig on Aug. 2 and 3 gave visitors a look at how things were done nearly a century ago.
The volunteer-run event brings the past to life each year while raising money for people going through cancer treatements. Following the weekend, the organization stated donations had surpassed $325,000 — and funds were still coming in.
About 2,100 people were served supper on Saturday night.
