The Bonnyville Jr. A Pontiacs are amidst the longest slump of their season, losing three games in a row and seven of the past eight games overall heading into the final two games of the regular season.

Both the Ashmont Falcons senior girls and boys basketball teams won the home tournament this past weekend after defeating local opponents as well as teams from as far away as Red Deer.

The Saddle Lake Warriors defeated the Titans from Thorhild Saturday evening and extended the team's lead to four points ahead of rivals St. Paul, who lost three straight over the weekend in the North Eastern Alberta Junior B Hockey League.

Both the St. Paul Junior B Canadiens and the Saddle Lake Warriors encountered some tough losses this past weekend and sit two points apart at the bottom of the North Eastern Alberta Junior B Hockey League.

Two points separate the Saddle Lake Warriors and St. Paul Canadiens in the lower half of the North Eastern Alberta Junior B Hockey League after this weekend's games, which saw the Warriors come away with a win and a loss and the Habs with two losses.
