BONNYVILLE - The Bonnyville Bandits will be advancing to the Wheatland Bantam Football League (WBFL) championship final after a decisive win on Saturday afternoon.

Hosting the Lloydminister Vikings at Walsh Field, the Bandits took the lead and never gave it up winning 36-0.

The semi-final victory will send the Bandits to St. Paul on Nov. 4 to take on the Bengals at 1 p.m.

Bonnyville Voyageurs 

The Bandits were not the only Bonnyville team to take to the gridiron this weekend.

On Friday night, the Bonnyville Voyageurs headed to Lloydminister to take on the Raiders. While the game did not end on a high note for the Voyageurs, having lost 44-0, their season is not over.

The Voyageurs will head to Sherwood Park on Nov. 11 to play the Ardrossan Bisons at the Tier III Provincial Quarterfinal.
