Rhinos Volleyball Club keeps growing

The Rhinos Volleyball Club grew in 2023 having added two boys teams to its club. The 16U Rhinos mens' team finished 8th in their Premier 1 bracket and 26th overall in the province.

LAKELAND – Rhino pride is growing in the Lakeland and so is the number of teams representing the Rhinos Volleyball Club in the region.  

The 2023 season has seen the Rhinos Volleyball Club, Northeast Alberta's premier volleyball club, grow to 14 teams, the most in the club's 20-year history.  

This year, the club has also added two boys' teams to the club’s roster, one 14U team and a 16U team, noted Scott Cameron, the Rhinos’ club president.  

So far, all 14 teams have completed Premier 1 tournaments. The Rhinos had five teams rank top five overall in the Alberta Volleyball Association’s North Division.
