Snowmobile rally draws dozens for Sunday ride

Lac La Biche's Full Tilt Power Sports & Sales and Off Road Rentals organized the first of what they hope is a monthly organized ride through the area's trails on Sunday.

More than 50 snowmobile riders were at today's ride that stretched across Beaver Lake and into cutline trails through the forest. The family-friendly ride also included a free hot dog and hot chocolate lunch hosted by the organizers at the halfway point of the 30K ride.

Full Tilt Power Sports & Sales in the Sentinel Industrial Park, rents out snowmobiles, quads, side-by-sides, boats and all recreation equipment. They also offer a service centre. The idea of the planned rides, say Full Tilt's Rob Kruk and Norm Charest, is to give more people knowledge of the Great Outdoors that surround them.

The next ride is planned for a month's time.
