St. Paul Fire Department raises $6,500 through annual boot drive

ST. PAUL - Fire trucks and emergency vehicles stopped traffic along St. Paul's main street on March 30, but there was no danger, just an annual cause that raises thousands of dollars each year.

The department was once again holding its annual boot drive, collecting spare change and other monetary donations. After three hours, about $6,500 was raised and will be donated to Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
