An 18-year-old Bonnyville resident was killed in an ATV accident 15 kilometres west of Hinton near the Brule Sand Dunes on May 24.
According to Hinton RCMP, EMS, fire and rescue service and RCMP responded to a single-vehicle collision at approximately 8:45 p.m. Thursday night. The male had been ejected from the ATV after the collision and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
RCMP press release indicates the victim was not wearing a helmet. No charges are expected and the investigation is on-going.
