Last week, three St. Paul Minor Ball baseball teams headed out of town to compete at provincial ‘A’ championships. After a three-day competition from July 19 to 21, two teams brought home the gold medal.

The Musée Historique de St. Paul Historical Museum, in conjunction with ACFA Régionale de Saint-Paul is holding a bilingual tour of the Lafond area on July 28. 

Weekly day camps for youths ages 5 to 12 hosted by ACFA Régionale de Saint-Paul are now in full swing. The camp is scheduled to run until Aug. 2.

Just one day before St. Paul Fire Chief Trevor Kotowich celebrates his 10-year wedding anniversary with his wife, disheartening pictures of the community where they tied the knot are being plastered online.

On July 15, the Town of Elk Point council met with Minister of Municipal Affairs Ric McIver to discuss the Town’s approach to Municipal Controlled Corporations (MCCs), following concerns raised by residents about the perceived lack of transparency in establishing the MCCs. 

The County of St. Paul announced a Level 4 Fire Ban on July 23.

A 13-year-old who was last seen on July 19 is still being sought by St. Paul RCMP.

On July 8, the St. Paul Museum hosted a science day that involved volcano demonstrations and interactive activities.

On July 18, firefighters with the St. Paul Fire Department conducted pump and operator training in the evening near the ball diamonds at the recreation grounds in St. Paul.  

For a week in July, a group of youths participated in Camp Rock, hosted by the St. Paul and District Arts Foundation. Musicians created the band “Awesome,” and ended the week-long camp in a final musical performance on July 12.
