Bandits fall to Chargers

The Bonnyville Bandits completed some plays and made some nice runs, but it was not enough against the Lloydminster Chargers, who took Saturday’s game by a score of 43-0.

On a sunny Saturday afternoon the Bonnyville Bandits lined up on Walsh Field to face the Lloydminster Chargers. The nice weather did not bring a nice result for the Bandits, as the Chargers were a bit too much to handle. The Chargers played a strong game, beating the Bandits by a score of 43-0 on Oct. 2.

The Bandits will now have two weeks off before playing their next game in Wainwright Oct. 16. In fact, the entire Bantam football league will have a bye this week for Thanksgiving. All teams will return to action the following week as scheduled.
