LAC LA BICHE - It was a long way to go for a league-game loss, but the Lac La Biche U18 Dodgers started out ther game against the Marwayne Huskies on the right note.

The Dodgers scored the maximum five runs in their opening at-bat in the Lakeland Minor Ball regular season game, showing they weren't too tired by the two-and-a-half hour road trip to the game. The Huskies picked away at the lead, however, eventually taking the lead back... and  then some.

The Dodgers dropped the game — their second loss in the first two games of the season — by a score of 14-7.

The Dodgers rebounded from the Tuesday night loss with a big win over Goodfish Lake on Thursday night. The Dodger play Bonnyville in their fourth game of the season on May 25.
