Lakeland Cup brings soccer teams together, winners advance to provincials

LAKELAND - Lakeland Cup took place at the Bold Center in Lac La Biche, with teams in the U13 to U17 age categories competing for a chance to attend provincials in March. 

Results from the day include: 

U17 boys 

Gold went to Bonnyville and silver went to Lakeland United.

U17 girls 

Gold went to Bonnyville and silver went to St. Paul.

U15 boys 

Gold went to Bonnyville, silver went to Cold Lake, and bronze went to St. Paul.

U15 girls

Only Bonnyville has a team at the U15 girls’ level, and they will also advance to provincials. 

U13 boys 

Gold went to Bonnyville (Jacob), silver went to St. Paul, and bronze went to Bonnyville (Hanusz).

U13 girls 

Gold went to Cold Lake, silver went to St. Paul, and bronze went to Bonnyville (Phillips).

U19 girls

The U19 Cold Lake girls' team will also advance to provincials.
