LAKELAND – Over the Aug. 12-14 weekend, two Lakeland FC teams headed south to take part in the Alberta Soccer Provincials Tournament.
The Lakeland U13 Boys competed in Okotoks, while the U15 Boys team attended the provincial tournament in Calgary. Both teams were playing in Tier 3.
Games started on Friday night and continued through until the final matches on Sunday.
Although neither team reached the podium, the weekend was filled with high energy and team bonding.
The teams also found success at tournaments held earlier in the summer season, such as at the Calgary Cup where the U15 team won gold.
