BONNYVILLE - The Bonnyville Jr. A Pontiacs showed just how impressive they can be in their Sunday afternoon game against the Lloydminster Bobcats at the RJ Lalonde Arena.

With a final score of 4-1, the Pontiacs took until the second period to put up their first point but once they did, the home team found unstoppable success.

Pontiacs' defencemen Jack Budd scored the first goal with the help of Mike Cataldo, nearly 15 minutes into the second period.

Nicolas Beaudoin followed shortly after with the teams' second goal. Beaudoin was assisted by Max Seguin and Matteo Giampa.

The Pontiacs returned to the ice in the third period with all the momentum they built up before the intermission.

Maintaining possesion of the puck helped to limit the Bobcats' opportunities to score and allowed the Pontiacs to put up two more goals in the first five minutes of the period.

Seguin took advantage of a power play, followed minutes later by Beaudoin. The pair also provided assistance to one another on their goals as well, with the help of Giampa.

The Bonnyville Pontiacs are now sitting third in the AJHL North Division and fourth overall.

The team's next home game is Dec. 7 against the Camrose Kodiaks. Puck drops at the RJ at 7 p.m.
