On Sept. 23, the 2nd annual Scott MacDonald Memorial Fundraiser in Bonnyville raised $6,200 for Haying in the 30s. The event is held in memory of Scott MacDonald, a former Bonnyville Voyageur, who died of cancer last year. The Bonnyville Bandits played against the Cold Lake Royals in the first game and lost 26-15. The Voyageurs played the Royals under the lights and lost in overtime, 10-7.
