Existing library location "couldn't be better"

Dear Editor,

In regards to the article in the Nouvelle (Dec. 4, 2018), “Library considers move to the C2,” my opinion is as follows:

Firstly, I compare the library to the Bonnyville and District SPCA - both provide a much needed service to the community and surrounding area.

The positives of remaining at the existing location are:

A) Location. The existing location couldn’t be better - close proximity to schools, BonnyLodge, et cetera.

B) A great number of persons travel to the library by foot - not by vehicle. That would greatly change if it moved to the C2.

C) The existing facility is very efficient in regards to the daily influence of a great many bags of books, tapes, cassettes, etc.

In conclusion, the only positives regarding a move to the C2 is more room.

My opinion is remain at the present location and expand the existing facility.
