Arrest made after shelter in place in St. Albert ends

The St. Albert RCMP were on the scene investigating a firearms complaint

One suspect has been arrested and taken into custody and charges are pending after residents on Amber Crescent were asked to shelter in place.

Though there is no longer a concern for public safety, RCMP members are still on scene and expected to remain while investigation is ongoing.

At around 1 a.m. on Saturday morning Residents of Amber Crescent, near Hebert Road and Atkins Drive, were asked to stay in their homes and away from their windows. 

The St. Albert RCMP were on the scene investigating a firearms complaint.
