Fans at the Vancouver Drake concert at Rogers Arena on Aug. 30, 2023 were treated to a heartwarming speech from the iconic Canadian rapper.

Drizzy Drake may have some hardcore song lyrics but the rapper got in his feelings for Canada at his second Vancouver concert at Rogers Arena.

After playing an assortment of his biggest hits from over the years, the rapper gave some love to all of his Canadian fans, remarking that he is so proud of his home country.

"I rarely get to perform for my people, and all my Vancouver people are my people...that's my tribe," he said. "If I could wear Canada on my [expletive] face I would."

"You made me who I am."

Champagne Papi goes on to say that there was a time when no one outside of the United States could have much success as a rapper. However, the support from fans pushed him to the top of the charts.

"You bought the albums, you bought the tickets, and that is why I'm standing here in front of you," he said. "There is no Drake without Vancouver. I promise you that and I love you."

Both of the Drake concerts in Vancouver also featured surprise appearances by megastar Travis Scott.

Watch a clip from Drizzy's heart-melting message to fans and to Canada.
