Innisfail RCMP seek public help to find missing man

John Lee's family hasn't heard from him in some time and Innisfail police are trying to locate him. He is believed to live in either the Calgary or Red Deer areas.

INNISFAIL – Local Mounties are asking the public for help to find a man who has been missing since at least last week.

In a news release issued on June 6, RCMP said its office received on June 2 a complaint that the family of 57-year-old John Lee has not seen him in “some time.”

RCMP Cpl. Troy Savinkoff said Mounties are requesting the public’s assistance to locate Lee, who is believed to be living in either the Red Deer or Calgary areas. 

Lee is described by police as having:

  • Medium complexion;
  • Speaks English and Cantonese;
  • 155 centimetres (5-foot, 1-inch) tall;
  • 91 kilograms (200 pounds);
  • Black hair;
  • Brown eyes;
  • Poor eyesight and wears thick glasses.

Anyone who has been in contact with Lee, or who might have information on his whereabouts, are requested to contact the Innisfail RCMP at 403-227-3341. Alternatively, people who wish to remain anonymous may either contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), submit information online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the "P3 Tips" app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
