DIDSBURY - A school bus containing numerous students has rolled on Highway 2A between Township Road 320 and Township Road 314 Monday morning.

“The extent of injuries is unknown,” said RCMP Cpl. Gina Slaney.

At about 10:21 a.m. on Oct. 23, a Didsbury RCMP officer came across the rollover south of the Olds-Didsbury Airport and north of Didsbury.

Traffic was being re-routed around the collision scene at noon Monday.

An update with more information is expected to be made, she said.

Asked shortly after 12 p.m. by the Albertan how many people may have been injured in the rollover, Cpl. Slaney said she did not know.

Police said shortly after 10 a.m. that road conditions are extremely poor between Carstairs and Olds, with officers responding to numerous collisions on that part portion of the highway.
