Homicide investigators in Edmonton have charged a St. Albert man with second-degree murder in the death of 25-year-old Breianna Schamber.
The Edmonton Police Service announced Friday Hunter Alexander Duncan, 23, was arrested and charged on Thursday.
On Dec. 3, 2019, southwest patrol officers responded to a call for assistance from EMS at a residential address in Edmonton near 35 Avenue and 107 Street, in the neighbourhood of Duggan.
Officers found the body of Schamber inside the residence. An autopsy confirmed Schamber was strangled to death.
Details have not been released on when Duncan will appear in court.
