Wood Buffalo RCMP are hoping motorists travelling Highway 881, north of Lac La Biche in the last week have dash-cam footage or may recall activity near Gregoire Lake to help their investigation into the death of a 17 year old teen.
Alberta RCMP Major Crimes and Wood Buffalo RCMP are investigating the death as a homicide.
The investigation began on September 15 when a body was found along Gregoire Lake. The deceased was taken to the office of the Chief Medical Examiner and has been identified as Keelin Kortzman.
RCMP are now asking anyone travelling in the area on Thursday Sept. 14 between 6 a.m., and 11 a.m. to relay any suspicious activity. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Wood Buffalo RCMP at 780-788-4040. Anonymous tips can be received through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
