LAKELAND - Some cooler winter weather is expected to show up over weekend, and Alberta RCMP are reminding drivers to use caution when hitting the roadways.
"With increased snow fall across the province and temperatures dropping, the roadways will be affected," according to information from RCMP, Friday.
The forecast in the Lakeland region is showing dropping temperatures, along with some scattered flurries. By mid-week next week, temperatures could be in the -30C range.
"Winter driving can be a white-knuckle ride. Snow, ice and long, dark nights all pose challenges to those behind the wheel. Whether you operate a car, truck or snowmobile, winter driving requires special attention," according to RCMP.
