Though it may not appear so from Wednesday night's snowfall, spring is on its way, and with spring comes baseball.
That means minor ball registration is just around the corner. Bonnyville Minor Baseball Association (BMBA) is holding registration nights at the Centennial Centre Mar. 22-23.
Players can register between 6 and 8 p.m. both evenings.
The two new baseball fields located south of the Acklands-Grainger building require naming and Bonnyville Minor Baseball Association is looking for your suggestions.
Any suggestions can be dropped off during registration hours Tuesday and Wednesday evening. A suggestion box will be located at the registration table.
Baseball Alberta has awarded Bonnyville Minor Baseball Association with the Small Association of the Year Award. According to Baseball Alberta, BMBA did an outstanding job of promoting and supporting baseball in the community.
