Junior curling program wraps up in St. Paul with bonspiel

The junior curling program offered through the St. Paul Curling Club wrapped up on Feb. 24. This year's program included 22 junior curlers and five coaches helping out on the ice.

ST. PAUL - The junior curling program offered through the St. Paul Curling Club wrapped up on Feb. 24. This year's program included 22 junior curlers and five coaches helping out on the ice.

The day offered teams a chance to play five games each at the St. Paul Curing Rink.

The Martin and Esther Naundorf Spirit Award was also handed out to two junior curlers who showed the most spirit throughout the season. Blaire Henderson and Emily Mahe received this year's award for their eagerness to learn, listen to their coaches and respect shown toward other teammates.

Team Koss won the top prize of the day. The team was made up of Conner Koss, Leah Pashko, and Matthew Chudyk.
