It was a local final on the boys' side of the annual Wow Pow high school volleyball tournament. The annual volleyball tournament  took over the Lac La Biche Bold Center over the weekend with 42 high school volleyball teams from across northern Alberta.

The host-team J.A. Williams High School Sharks faced the Hawks from the neighbouring Ecole Plamondon School in front of a large and loud section of fans in Saturday night's final match of the two-day tourney.

Plamondon came out with the win, continuing their aggressive run through the event.
