The Lac La Biche Minor Ball Association and a list of local agencies are going to turn the August 4-6 weekend into a Multi-Sport celebration in Lac La Biche County.
Ball Hockey for kids 6 and up, as well as an obstacle course race, grass volleyball, baseball games, water sports, horseshoes and a carnival with sports-themed events are being planned.
The events will take over several spots in and around the hamlet of Lac La Biche, including the Alexander Hamilton Park, the McArthur Place lakeshore and the LLB Recreation Grounds.
All the proceeds from the weekend will go back to community agencies like the Humane Society and Hope Haven, who are helping to organize the sports-tacular.
