On April 20, 2020, Mr. Gilbert Classen of Elk Point, formerly of Calgary, passed away at the age of 91 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Gwen (Rick) Rogers of Carseland; 3 sons, Brian (Lori) of High River, Doug (Kathy) of Calgary & Harold (Monica) of Elk Point; numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren; sister, Ina Glutek of Chemais, B.C.; step-children, Wayne (Cheryl) Sauer of Kelowna, B.C., Terry (Joyce) Sauer of Pincher Creek & Dawn (Peter) Walden of Buckeye, AZ; numerous nieces & nephews.
Mr. Classen was predeceased by his wife, Gertrude; grandson, Jeffrey; siblings, Gordon, Earl, Clifford, Richard, Edna, Verna & Carl. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Gil’s Life will be held at a later date with inurnment in Queen’s Park Cemetery, Calgary.
