On March 13, 2021, Mr. Fern Piquette of St. Paul passed away at the age of 57 years. Fern was one of a kind. With a laugh that could cause anyone to smile & a smile that could light up the darkest days. He took pride in everything he did and went above and beyond for everyone he loved. His joie de vivre was apparent to anyone lucky enough to cross his path. He worked hard, played hard and loved hard. Nicknamed “the baby whisperer” as he could hum any baby to sleep, that is if he wasn’t crawling around playing with them on the floor, taking them fishing or quadding or blabbering to them in his weird baby talk. He will truly be missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Cheryl; 3 sons & 1 daughter, Jesse (Jennifer), Damien (Alexandra), Caleb & Mélina; 5 grandchildren, Theodore, Charlee Rose, Bexxley, Porter & Aedden; siblings, Henriette (Maurice) Therien, Solange (Virgil) Price, Laurent (Carmen), Adrien (Thérèse), Ernest (Diane), Carmen, Carmel (Yvon) Michaud & Pierrette (Martin Courchesne); numerous nieces & nephews. Fern was predeceased by his parents, Roch & Blanche; brother, Lucien; niece, Carla Price. A Private Memorial Mass will be held at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Cremation has taken place.
