Sloan, Sylvia

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sylvia Sloan of St. Paul, AB on November 25, 2020 at the age of 77 years. Sylvia is lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, Barry Sloan of St. Paul; two children: Jody (Peter) Roseneck of Calgary, Randy (Jo-Ann) Sloan of Fort McMurray; three grandchildren: Tommy, Erin (Jay), Erich (Tara); great granddaughter: Sloan; sister: Vivian Plunkett; two brothers: Ron Bodnar, Steve Bodnar; two sisters-in-law: Mona Sylvestre, Betty Lou Sloan; as well as many dear friends in Alberta and Arizona. Sylvia was predeceased by her parents: John & Jean Bodnar; sister: Beverly Bodnar; brother: Raymond Bodnar. There will be no funeral service at this time due to Covid-19 restrictions. A Celebration of Sylvia’s life will be held at a later date. Memorial tributes in memory of Sylvia may be sent to Haying in the 30’s (Cancer Support), PO Box 35, Mallaig, AB, T0A 2K0.
