It is with deep sadness that the family mourns the passing of Louise Wispinski (née Baker) of Bonnyville, Alberta on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the age of 77 years.
Louise will be dearly missed by her beloved husband of 53 years: Elmer; daughter: Natalie; sisters: Miriam, Irene, Janet and Shelley; and her brothers: Gerry, John, Neil and Jim; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Louise was predeceased by her parents: Casper and Cecilia; sister: Norma.
Louise was born in Edmonton in on December 10, 1947. After having graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor’s degree in Education, she went on to touch the lives of many students in Edmonton and the Lakeland area. She retired from St Dominic School in 2004, where she taught English for many years.When not working, Louise enjoyed tending to her beautiful flowerbeds, reading and baking tasty treats for family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. (eulogy starting at 10:50 a.m.), St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church, Cold Lake, AB with Father Limneo Zamora as Celebrant. A luncheon will be held at the church hall immediately following the Mass. Final Resting Place, St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, Fort Kent, AB.
