Letter to the Editor:
I know Thanksgiving is past, but I want to express my thanks to God for the Lac La Biche county I am blessed to live in.
That’s in spite of minus forty to minus 50 degrees in January. I know of no other place I would rather live.
We have beautiful countryside and hard working people. We have good roads and good medical and educational facilities. We of many religions and heritages cooperate to make our community a good place to live.
A large part of what I am thankful for is a good municipal government. From what I hear Mayor Moghrabi and the other council members work together to solve the many problems we face. Our former Mayor Peter Kirylchuk and his council laid the foundation for many of our facilities, but the present council has completed them and runs them well. I know there are problems. There always have been and there always will be. We can complain about them or we can work together to solve them.
Thank you to all the men and women who have served us well in the past and will in the future.
