To the Editor:
The Vermilion Jr. B Tigers would like to take this time to thank the St. Paul Canadiens Hockey Club and bystanders that were at the game on Sunday, Jan. 23 for their quick response to the incident that happened during the game that saw one of our players being taken to the hospital. We are happy to report that he is now recovering after two surgeries.
We would also like to thank the hospital and ambulance staff (especially the one gentleman that contacted the ambulance and got them there so quickly). It is so good to know that when something like this happens, there are still people out there that will go above and beyond to help others.
Thanks to everyone for everything that was done that day. The team appreciates it very much.
